Name: Zhuoyu Xiao
Title: Ph.D. student at UMich IOE
Bio: Zhuoyu is a doctoral student in the Department of Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan, where he worked with Dr. Uday Shanbhag. He received his MPhil in Mathematics from the University of Victoria, Canada, in 2022, where he worked with Dr. Jane Ye. He earned his B.S. in Mathematics from Jinan University, China, in 2020. His research focuses on designing, developing and analyzing algorithms for solving nonsmooth optimization, nonconvex optimization, and stochastic programming, with a strong focus on nonconvex games.
