About me
Rujun Jiang is currently an associate professor at School of Data Science, Fudan University. He received his Bachelor degree in Mathematics in 2012 from University of Science and Technology of China. He then obtained his PhD degree in 2016 in The Chinese University of Hong Kong under the supervision of Professor Duan Li. Before joining Fudan in 2017, He spent one year in CUHK as a postdoctoral fellow. His research interests include optimization and its applications in machine learning and financial engineering. He has served as an Area Chair at leading machine learning conferences, including ICML and NeurIPS. He has received an ICML Outstanding Paper Award (2022).
