Bio:
Paul completed his PhD at the
Institute for Mathematical Optimization at Technical University of Braunschweig in 2019. Afterwards, he joined the
Mathematics and Computer Science Division of Argonne National Laboratory as James H Wilkinson Fellow in Scientific Computing. In September 2021, Paul moved to TU Dortmund University as assistant professor.
Paul's research focus lies on mixed-integer optimization infinite dimensions, in particular, appropriate regularization techniques and trust-region algorithms.
