Bio:
Shakiba holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and an M.Sc. in Transportation Engineering from the University of Tehran. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering at the University of Washington, where she serves as a research assistant in the Intelligent Urban Transportation Systems (iUTS) Lab. Her research focuses on optimizing transportation networks and traffic operations within intelligent transportation systems (ITS), using both operations research and machine learning methodologies.
