Di is an Applied Scientist at Amazon.com, Inc. Prior to joining Amazon, he was a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Southern California (USC), where he conducted research under the guidance of Professor Suvrajeet Sen. His work focuses on tackling challenges in stochastic programming, with a particular emphasis on developing innovative algorithms and analyzing their convergence properties. Recently, he has been working on designing an adaptive sampling progressive hedging algorithm to address large-scale stochastic programming problems.
