About me
I am a postdoctoral researcher at KULeuven in the group of Lieven De Lathauwer at ESAT, currently working on improving optimization algorithms for tensor decompositions. Tensors are multidimensional generalizations of matrices and appear in an increasing number of applications and fields. Unlike matrices, decomposing a tensor to retrieve useful information results in a challenging optimization problem. I focus on nonlinear nonconvex optimization algorithms for the canonical polyadic decomposition, which decomposes a tensor in a sum of rank-1 tensors.
