Bio:
Çağın Ararat is an Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Bilkent University. He received his BSc degree in 2010 from the same department, followed by a PhD degree in 2015 from the Department of Operations Research and Financial Engineering at Princeton University. His research interests include risk measures, systemic risk, set-valued analysis, deterministic and stochastic vector optimization. During the academic year 2022-2023, he was on sabbatical leave and visited the Department of Mathematics at the University of Southern California as a Fulbright Scholar. His papers were published in journals including Operations Research, Annals of Applied Probability, Finance and Stochastics, SIAM Journal on Financial Mathematics, and SIAM Journal on Optimization.
